MAFA pet portrait artist Sally Weiss will help you create a colorful painting of your pet on a 9 x 12 canvas with acrylic paint. “Oh, I’m no painter!” you say? Wait till you come under Sally’s magic spell with her fun and easy step-by-step approach!
MAFA will provide the paint, brushes, canvas, and tabletop easels. Just bring along your favorite color photo print of your sweet fur baby, along with a black and white print on paper of that photo in the size you’d like for your finished painting.
Then meet us in the Kay Dalton Room of the Monrovia Community Center at 2:00 p.m. that day to start the workshop.

About the instructor:
Sally grew up with a fascination for and appreciation of nature. She’s always loved to create in many forms, including drawing, stained glass, pottery, interior design, gardening, and cooking. Now bright, bold paintings are her way of sharing the joy of nature, and flowers and dogs are among her favorite subjects to paint.
